I started my cycling career on the British Cycling Talent Team at the age of 13 where I raced everything I could, every discipline, every race and I fell in love with the sport. I quickly found my feet off-road and progressed onto the MTB Olympic Development Programme where as a Junior i competed home and abroad and pulled on my first Great Britain Jersey at numerous World and European XC Championships, and also won my first National Championship title.

At the age of 18 I was faced with the difficult decision of becoming a full time cyclist or taking the education route, and after a year of work I packed my bags and headed to Newcastle for 3 years at Northumbria University and with that swicthed my focus to road racing. Now having just finished my 3rd season as a road rider I finally feel like I am finally starting to make my mark with an Overall and Overall sprint competition victory in the 2012 Womens Tour Series and a Bronze in the U23 National Road Race Champs with experience racing in big UCI races. Also I found myself missing the off-road racing this year and briefly headed back to my roots to win the U23 National Mountain Bike XC Championships in July.

I now find myself comprimising between my love for crits and mountain biking by taking on Cyclo-cross for the ever supportive Team Hope and look forward to 2013 competing in mixed disciplines with them.
